LACRI

LA CRI

La C.R.I. was founded in 2001 by the Artist Gwendaline Bachini. Its first productions were on stage and the performances integrated cinema and video in the set up design. They dealt with subjects as Body and/or Time. One of these performances, «LIULINKE», was filmed at the Villa Medicis in Rome and integrated in a documentary «Le Roi Rodin» made by Alain Fleischer. After an international diffusion (Canada, Switzerland...) the movie was shown at the Georges Pompidou Center in 2003. The same year La C.R.I. was funded by the French Culture Government.

New Media Art productions have opened the range of topics of La CRI’s productions. The choreographies are made «from the gesture of the audience» and have become interactive. TACTIM (live size touch screen; 2008) was the first step in this new direction. Made in Berlin with the partner Humatic GmbH, the prototype was shown in Manchester and the final work is exhibited by Dance and New Media Art festivals in France and abroad.

The latest productions of LA CRI dealt with subjects about the Evolution Théorie of the Living. La C.R.I. in co-production with Eclectic Experience has teamed up with researchers on perception and laboratories as INRIA (Grenoble), 4D View Solutions, and SIP Conseil in order to realize the cycle ANIMO (2012-2019). The last piece of Animo, titled BIFACE (AR) has been awarded at Stéréopsia, world immersion Forum.

The Production of LA CRI are exhibited by Digital Art festival, XR Festival, Danse Festival such as Futur en Seine au Le CentQuatre ( Paris FR), VIA Maubeuge (Belgique), Exit (Paris FR), DAF of Taipei (Chine), FILE at Sao paolo (Brésil), ZEd Festival in Bologna (Italie), Beijing dance Festival (China).…
